Just a couple of weeks after the launch of the Realme 6 and 6 Pro in India, the Chinese giant unveiled the Realme 6i in Myanmar today. It is the most affordable latest addition to the series Realme 6, but does not reduce the set of functions and technical characteristics. There are also benefits to using this brand, such as realme tricks.

Realme 6i is the first phone in the world powered by the new MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, so you will have to pay attention to its Benchmark and Antutus, compared to others in its range.

Realme 6i: specifications and features

Starting with the design, the company has built on its existing Realme X Onion and Garlic Master Edition variants (created by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa) to bring a more premium look and finish to this budget phone.

But it still features a plastic build, along with a vertical camera setup and a physical fingerprint sensor on the back.

Screen

On the front of this mobile phone, the Realme 6i sports a 6.5-inch HD+LCD display with a drop of water compared to the hole design that we see in the rest of the Realme 6 series. They like both the notch and hole designs. Both are not intrusive.

The onboard display features a 20:9 aspect ratio, 89.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 1600 x 720p resolution. But obviously there's no 90Hz refresh rate support, which is fine at its price point.

Microprocessor

Now, as we mentioned earlier, Realme 6i is the "world's first smartphone powered by the new gaming-focused Mediatek Helio G80 chipset. It was announced earlier this year, alongside the Helio G70 SoC that powers the Realme C3. The company has launched a series of novelties this year, surpassing Xiaomi.

MediaTek Helio G80 AnTuTu Benchmark was claimed to have 201,278 points on the event stage. Compared to recent Helio G70 benchmark tests, MediaTek Helio G80 has a slightly higher AnTuTu benchmark score than Helio G70. This means that the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset is on par with the Helio G70, but definitely better than the Helio GXNUMX. Snapdragon 665. However, it will most likely fall behind the Snapdragon 675.
