The MWC in Barcelona 2016 has officially started on February 22. However, on the previous day of Sunday 21, there have already been some interesting moments, technologically speaking.
Perhaps among the highlights of the day was the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, as well as that of LG G5. But other brands like Huawei or HTC have also taken advantage of the expectation prior to the official start of the event, to make presentations of Android phones most interesting. LG
The star of LG has undoubtedly been the LG G5, which in addition to high-end specifications, as a good leading LG model that it is, has as its best asset the fact of being the first modular smartphone in the world.
Aluminum body, 159 grams, 5,3″ screen, gray, silver, pink and gold colors. Internally a micro Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. 2 rear cameras of 16 and 8 megapixels, in addition to a front one for selfies, of 8 megapixels. Removable 2.800 mAh battery.
In this area, two photography and sound modules have been presented for said device.
Huawei
Huawei has not presented us on this occasion a smartphone but a tablet, the Matebook, which is the first convertible tablet of the brand.
Its screen is 12 inches with IPS LCD technology and a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Its brightness is 400 nit. It is 6,9 mm thick and weighs 640 grams. It includes a fingerprint reader, which allows you to turn on the device and log in with a single touch of your finger.
Its 4430 mAh battery is striking, not much for a tablet with a 12-inch screen. The price of it, gets out of hand, between 799 and 1799 euros.
It is a device that stands out especially for its style, as well as for the fact that it allows us to use Windows 10, as an operating system.
HTC
The HTC brand has presented us with the Desire 825, a mid-range smartphone, with a price of around 300 euros, but that does not make us give up HTC's most careful design.
The 5.5-inch screen and HD 720p resolution, with 267 pixels per inch. Panel is of the SuperLCD type. The measurements are 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.4 millimeters and 155 grams in weight, with a 2.700 mAh capacity battery and fast charge.
As for the processor, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, with a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The RAM is 2 GB and the internal storage is 16 GB, with the possibility of expansion with microSD.
It has LTE connectivity, accompanied by the usual WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and aGPS. Incorporate the latest version Android 6.0 Marshmallow , also with a new version of HTC Sense, HTC's user layer.
Another of the mobiles presented by the brand has been the Desire 530, a smartphone that does not have the features of a leading model, but that has a very attractive design and is available in various colors for those who are fashionable. Perhaps at a technical level they are not the best Android phones, but they meet the needs of a sector of the public that does not demand great features or stratospheric prices.
Samsung
The most interesting thing about Samsung's presentation was the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, which will have resistance to water, dust and SD card slot.
Internally we have a micro Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of Ram memory, a 5,1-inch SuperAMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels QuadHD, a 12-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. 3000 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging. Android 6.0 Marshmallow with revamped Touchwiz user layer.
The Gear 360 virtual reality camera and the Samsung Connect Audio, which allows you to turn your car into a WiFi point, have also been presented.
