Although the world has temporarily stopped, technological launches have not stopped. And these days we have been able to discover the latest novelty in activity bracelets, the Fitbit Charge 4.
It is a bracelet very similar in principle to its predecessor, the Charge 3, but it comes with an important novelty, the incorporation of GPS.

Similar to the previous model
In appearance, the Fitbit Charge 4 is practically the same as the previous model, which was released in 2008. It does not have too many changes in terms of its physical appearance.
It is a fine bracelet with a perfectly unisex design. We can find it in several colors, although in online stores it is easy to find additional straps later to change the color whenever we want.
Among other features that we can find in this bracelet, the 24-hour monitoring of the heart rate stands out, and also the accounting of the calories burned.
It also has sleep monitoring and reminders to move every hour.
All these features were already available in the previous model of the bracelet. Probably the most important novelty is found in the incorporation of GPS.
This differentiates it not only from the previous model, but also from other activity wristbands that are in the same price range, such as the Garmin Vivosmart 4.
Other news of the Fitbit Charge 4
Another quite interesting function that this activity bracelet brings us is the arrival of the accounting of minutes of activity. Based on our usual heart rate, the bracelet will detect when we are doing some type of physical activity.
And we will count all the minutes, setting ourselves the goal of reaching 150 minutes per week.
The new bracelet will also allow us to control the playback of Spotify lists from our wrist. And we can also use our Fitbit Charge 4 to pay through Fitbit Pay.
This service is nothing new at this point, but in order to use it previously, it was necessary to have a more advanced (and more expensive) model of the bracelet.
Availability and price
The base price of this activity bracelet will be 149,95 euros. A fairly correct price considering its features and that, after all, Fitbit is one of the most popular brands of this type of device. There is also a special version for 169,95 euros.
You can already reserve your bracelet in pre-sale, but orders will not start to be sold and effective until next April 15.
