The latest version of WhatsApp, which has already begun to reach Android phones from all over the world, already allows the file submission of all kinds, from mp3 music to PDF documents. We will only have to click on the clip icon that we find at the top of the chat windows and go to the option Documents. There we can select any file that we have on the phone or on the SD card and send it to the other person as long as they also have the latest version of the app installed.

One of the demands of the adolescent public for this app was the possibility of send music and songs through it. Now this can be done through the Audio option that we find in the same clip, and that previously only served to send voice recordings.

Once we get into Audio, we will have the option to access the sound recorder of our phone, to record a sound through WhatsApp or to send a song that we have stored on the phone. This option has been available for a little longer.

WhatsApp intends to become a corporate tool

Why has WhatsApp been encouraged to allow the sending of files now? Well, simply because it wants to stop being a tool for solely personal communication and get closer to the professional market, enabling tools that are useful for workers and their business use.

A group chat can now become the best way to share both messages and files, which makes WhatsApp a very interesting corporate tool.
