La application Google Maps for Android, already has notifications of traffic en real time for Spain thanks to the tool Waze.
From now on, if you are a user of one of the most used Google applications, you will be able to be informed instantly of any incidence that may affect the roads through which you plan to travel, as well as the state of the traffic at all times: intensity, alternative detours, arrival times, etc.
The registration of the service arrived this Tuesday, November 12, both in Spain and in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the USA... countries that also have the most complete and updated road traffic information through Google Maps.
As you know, the Google Mountain company bought last August the social network of traffic conditions and maps in real time Waze, through which thousands of users from all over the world reported traffic incidents with their own data: road closures, traffic jams, problems caused by inclement weather, location of radar.
Since then, Google has integrated all these notifications that users voluntarily add into its map system.
But in addition, Google Maps will have all the information that the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) regularly reports. In this way, if you plan to move to another city, you will be able to check if a mountain pass has problems due to snow, if there are traffic jams on a road and there are alternative routes or if, for example, a traffic accident has caused the total or partial closure of a highway.
To access the tool you must download the popular (free) application from Google Play, if you don't already have it installed on your Smartphone or Tablet… and enjoy it.
