The Poco F2 Pro confirmed for launch on May 12

Poco confirmed that it will hold a worldwide launch event on May 12, earlier this week. Obviously, we speculate that the company will drop the long-awaited Poco F2 series. And today, all of our prayers have been answered as the Poco F2 Pro, has finally been confirmed to be released next week.

About an hour ago, the official @POCOGlobal Twitter account confirmed the name of the upcoming device through an announcement poster. You can see the attached poster below, which gives no hints about the Poco F2 Pro. It only mentions the name and the tagline: "Mighty cool" with the release date of May 12.

The advertised poster simply confirms the arrival of the Poco F2 Pro, but we can expect the standard Poco F2 to debut alongside this device.

The company previously stated that the Poco F2 will not be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro, but recent leaks have suggested that the F2 Pro could be the same device.

If you're ready, let's go POCO! #POCOF2Pro launch event online on May 12th. Stay tuned.#POCOisBACK #PowerfullyCool

Rumored Poco F2 Pro Specs and Features

This means that the Poco F2 Pro will likely feature a bezel-less AMOLED display, circular quad-camera array, Snapdragon 865 chipset, and super-fast wired charging. It has also been revealed that the device will come in the same colors as the Redmi K30 Pro i.e. White, Purple, Grey, and Blue.

Furthermore, the starting price of the Poco F2 Pro is expected to be 570 euros in the European market. Prices are substantially lower in other Asian countries, as you may have seen with the price split between the OnePlus 8 series in India and the US.

So we can expect the flagship to land in Europe and beyond sooner rather than later. What are your expectations of the Poco F2 Pro?
