The Samsung Galaxy S20 would come with enough specifications to be a powerful WEB server and more

A small part of the specifications of the Galaxy S20 have stood out in the latest benchmark test, and lends credence to a previous rumor that all of Samsung's next top models would come with 12GB of RAM as standard.

This plus the microprocessor that is being considered, would be enough to set up a web server or even a machine to virtualize systems.

Galaxy S20 specs show processor speed and latest Android version

A new landmark discovered in Geekbench reveals more, when it comes to the performance of the Galaxy S20, as well as the specifications that it is expected to announce when Samsung reveals it to all users during its Unpacked event on February 11. Based on the model number listed on Geekbench, the phone that was part of the benchmark is the smaller variant of the Galaxy S20.

Many times, the base models are compared before the official launch of the flagship. And seeing how the Galaxy S20's specs highlight the existence of 12GB of RAM, part of us cheers with delight at the prospect of seeing that much memory, even in base models.

Also note that a rumor previously stated that it will not be RAM, but rather the advanced and more efficient LPDDR5 variant, which is also expensive to manufacture.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Clock Frequency

However, one thing to note is that this benchmark is very different from what has been previously reported. A couple of days ago, the version Snapdragon 865 of the Galaxy S20 was spotted on Geekbench. And it revealed much higher single-core and multi-core scores.

The interesting thing to note here is that both benchmarks reveal the same processor clock speed, so our gut tells us that this particular model is not yet fully optimized to deliver the best results on a synthetic performance run.

Regardless, we have evidence showing that 12GB of RAM is expected to be part of the Galaxy S20's specs, but how high a price will Samsung charge for this configuration? Looks like we'll find out next month.
