MIUI 12 is the new version of the operating system of Xiaomi, which is nothing more than an Android customization layer.

control Center
One of the main novelties that MIUI 12 brings us is the Control Center. It is very similar, in design and functionality, to what we can find in iOS. When you scroll down from anywhere on the home screen, you'll find a menu where you can change things like screen brightness, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. The main difference with respect to iOS is that in this case the control center is editable, so you can have it to your liking.

New animations
The physical appearance of the operating system has also changed. For example, the free and used space bar now looks much more attractive. Also the icons that we find by default are clearer and cleaner, so that you notice the difference at first glance.

New navigation gestures
With MIUI 12, the gestures that Google had been adding for Android 10 phones are finally coming to Xiaomi mobiles. For example, just by sliding your finger from one place to another in the application you can easily switch from one application to another.
