How to get invisible blocks in Minecraft

Minecraft

Getting invisible blocks in Minecraft is not easy. Finding them loose around the world is an impossible mission, although taking into account the number of changes that are taking place in the game, it would not surprise us if Mojang decides to release them in a while. All this, however, is already in the hands of the administrators (and their decisions are sovereign).

If you play and spend time in the Minecraft universe often, you know that a block is the basic unit of the game. It doesn't matter if it's stone, sand, wood, coal, glass; the block is the minimum expression of any element that you can create or that can appear within this title. And since we are talking about invisible blocks, let's see how you can achieve them.

What you don't need to get invisible blocks

As a refresher, the invisible blocks are elements that can be especially useful for playing online. As its name suggests, these blocks cannot be seen by any player, which means that a new game mechanic is created. With the invisible blocks it is possible to create traps in which the rival players will fall.

The player who places them will see their silhouette at the time of placing them, but afterward (and again using a command) they will no longer be able to see the block. Knowing this, the best thing to do is write down the coordinates where they have been placed to avoid the area, so that we don't fall into our own traps.

First of all, it must be made clear that no need to install any against to get invisible blocks. Minecraft is a game that, through its own command console (as was the case with some already classic titles like the first two installments of the Quake saga), allows you to do many things. And it is that the much feared text mode of games and operating systems is a very powerful tool.

This is all very good, but discard the mobile version of the game as a viable way to get invisible blocks; it is only possible to do it in the Java version of the game, available only for personal computers.

Creating invisible blocks in Minecraft

world in minecraft

As we have already said, to get invisible blocks you need to be using the PC version of the game. First of all, you will have to enable in-game commands. To do this, you will have to do the following:

  • Start the game and close your player session.
  • Open single player mode and click Create a new world.
  • Next, click on More options in the world and in the section Commandos check the option Yes.
  • Click on Done and then click on Create a new world.

Once this is done, we can start getting invisible blocks. The steps to follow are the following:

  • Open Minecraft on your computer.
  • Access with your user credentials and start playing.
  • Once in the game, press the key T and write the command /give [username] minecraft:barrier and press the key Intro.

After this has been done, a block with forbidden icon. This is what Minecraft calls a "barrier" and works like an invisible block. Despite what we discussed about creating traps, the developers use them to delimit areas. And yes, as we have already said, everything in Minecraft works based on blocks for everyone.

Now that it's in place, you have to make it invisible. To do this, press the key T write the command /survival and the blocks with the forbidden sign will become invisible to you and the rest of the players who are in your world. You can make the blocks visible again by going into creative mode by pressing the key again T and typing the command / gamemode creative. In this way, you can rearrange them according to your needs.

Are there more things in Minecraft that can be invisible?

The answer is yes. Blocks aren't the only thing that can be made invisible; other objects, such as armor stands, can also be hidden from view. There are other elements that the world administrators have been able to mark as invisible, which go unnoticed by most players.

The basic question is that based on commands, you can make many things invisible. It's up to you, in creative mode you have total freedom to create a world to your liking that you can later turn into a public survival game. Of course, these commands are part of a huge list, which is beyond the main objective of this article.

However, we do not want you to leave this section empty, so we are going to give you a trick to make a decoration frame invisible. Within the game, press the T key and type the command /give @s item_frame{EntityTag:{Invisible:1}}. As we told you, there are many more and it is a matter of searching, trying and writing down the ones that are most interesting and useful to you.
