Google's Santa Tracker returns for 2019

Google's Santa Tracker is back for 2019. And this year, Santa's Village has had a makeover, with a new look, plus new games and activities to explore.

Google has also expanded its efforts to more products like Google Assistant and Google Earth.

Google has been helping kids and adults track Santa for over 15 years. And in the run-up to the big day, Google gives us a look at what's happening at the North Pole. And 2019 is no exception, as Santa Village is open for business.

What's new in Santa Village for 2019?

As in years past, Santa's Village is full of fun (and educational) games and activities. For the most part, they are designed to keep the kids entertained until December. But chances are some adults will like it too.

There are new parts of Santa's village to explore, including the new toy factory and reindeer gym. There are also new games to enjoy, such as 3D Snowbox which allows you to create your own winter scene.

In all, there are more than two dozen activities to explore.

Google's efforts also extend to other products. So, as detailed in this post on su Blog, you can now say "Hey Google, what's new at the North Pole?" to the Assistant, test your knowledge of holiday traditions in Google Earth, and much more.

Santa Claus Village is open throughout December. However, all of these games and activities only set the mood for the big day. In fact, you can start tracking Santa as early as December 23. It gives you enough time to download the Google Santa Tracker app.

How to visit the village of Santa Claus from Google

You can visit the Santa Claus village here. You can then click the play button to load a random game. Or you can scroll down the page to reveal the inner sanctum and choose a specific game or activity. More games and activities are being unlocked the closer to Christmas.

If you feel inspired by Google's efforts and have some time to spare during the holidays, you can try creating a virtual tour with Google Earth.

Now you can create virtual tours with Google Earth

You can now create virtual tours using Google Earth, allowing you to tell stories using the power of Google satellite imagery.

If you love Christmas and the holidays are your favorite time of the year, is it time to search and find Santa Claus?
