Second option (via Menu)
If this does not solve the problem, there is no other option but to do a factory data reset. Remove the SIM card and on the home screen, press: Menu, and select Settings → Privacy. Here click on Factory data reset. Then click on Reset phone and Erase everything. If you have a security password, it will ask you for it before taking this step.
Attention, with this action all the data of the telephone is erased.
Third and Fourth option (Key combination)
With the phone powered off, press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. The terminal should automatically restart.
If this option does not work, do not connect your Defy through the charger to the electrical network. If after 30 seconds the battery meter does not appear, press the power key and the volume key down for about 10 seconds. The Android logo will appear. We will press the lower right corner for a few seconds and release.
Already in the menu, with the volume keys up or down, we will move through the mobile until we select Wipe data / Factory reset and then Wipe cache partition. Finally you must click on Reboot systen now and press the power button.
