To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon games, the Pokémon Company has released the Photo Booth app. With this free app you very soon it will arrive for Android devices, you can add your favorite gameplay screenshots to your images, or put a Pokeball filter on your face.
This is all fun but what if Pokémon Co. had implemented more options in this app?
With the following options, it would surely be worth it if it wasn't free and we would happily use our Google Play card credits to get it.
Photo Booth Apps are very popular in Japan, but fans of these fun apps are also found in many other countries around the world. Apps like these have a lot of potential, especially with the success they are having. faces swap and also for the possible use of augmented reality technology.
If we think about it, there are many possibilities of how Pokémon Photo Booth could use these technologies, and that it could certainly make the app noticeably better.
1. Throw the Pokeball
It's a very simple thing to add to the app: if you're posing with your friend, you can throw a Pokéball to start a battle or try to catch the wild Pokemon in your living room. This would take extra time to pose for the photo, but it's a lot of fun and the photos would be very creative. It would also be nice to be able to get extra points if there are different types of Pokéballs.
2. Reward yourself with medals or become the new Nurse
Show off and pose with your jacket open or take a photo with easily achieved medals, without having to fight. Or maybe you feel more like becoming the hero who is always there to heal the Pokémon. To do this, the ideal is to try the nurse Joy look and put on her hair and her hat. Or do you look more like Ash's hat?
3. Become Pokemon
You will spend a lot of time trying out the looks of all 700 Pokemon! Can you imagine how Pikachu's red blushes or Marill's ears would look on you? Changing our face for that of Pokémon, such as Koffing, Gastly and Voltorb would be a very fun option for this App and even more so if you try to mimic them!
4. Own Pokédex page
Choose the preferred type, nature and favorite ability and enter your name. A dex-number would then be generated. And all that remains is to pose for the photo and for your Pokedex page to be ready! We would be ready to share it on our social networks!
5. Pokemon, Posemon…
It might be great to have all these Pokemon related effects, but the Pokemon Photo Booth can't really be complete if you can't pose with the real stars of the show: all 700+ Pokemon!
Then we would have the option to see them on a human scale or that of a pet, or why not? with the actual size of each character. Imagine yourself posing with Wailord, who is over 14 feet tall, the largest Pokémon ever.
