When is the Pixel 9 coming out? New models, news and rumors
The days are numbered for the launch of the Google Pixel 9, but while that happens today we will know everything about this device thanks to leaks made by the 91mobiles website. This is a model that does not come alone and will be accompanied by three teams and they are:
- Google Pixel 9. It will be the brand's classic design, compact in size and some configurations available for the camera.
- Google Pixel 9 Pro. The Pro model comes with an improved screen and cameras, continuing with the features of the Pixel 8 Pro. In addition, it will come with extra layers of artificial intelligence.
- Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. This model will be similar to the Google Pixel 9 Pro, but with the difference that its size will be much larger.
Apart from these three models, Google plans to include a fourth mid-range device called Pixel 9a. However, it is estimated that the device will be released a few months after the official launch of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Design of the Google Pixel 9 models
Both the Google Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL will come with a special design to incorporate their telephoto cameras. Its shape will be rounded, but with a more stylized and particular style, compared to previous models.
The bezel is made of aluminum with thinner terminals than previous models. They will be flatter if we compare them with an iPhone, taking advantage of the front edges much better. The screen will be smaller and more compact, but the main difference between the two will be the size of the device.
Camera Features
Google Pixel 9 comes with a triple setup of wide-angle, telephoto and wide-angle cameras. At the moment there is no information about the pixels of each of them, nor focal lengths. However, it is expected to be at least 3X. This camera configuration will come for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
With regards to Classic Pixel will include a double camera system, one wide angle and one ultra wide angle. In addition, all models will include functions with artificial intelligence technology, with improvements and new features. At the moment, it is unknown which will be its own functionalities and which come directly from Google.
Other features of the Google Pixel 9
Other leaks that revolve around the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are what they will look like and it has been detected that They will come with a G4 Tensor. It is a totally new processor owned by Google. At the moment, there are no more specific details about it, only that Samsung is a collaborator for this component. The rumor about the Mali G715 CPU instead of using Samsung's Xclipse 2400. The RAM of the Pixel 9 Pro will be 12 GB, while the Pixel 9 will not indicate anything about it.
All screens will be AMOLED, but the Pixel 9 Pro will be 6,5 inches, the Pixel 9 will be 6,1 inches with a Full HD+ resolution and the Pixel 9 XL will be a Quad HD+. The Pixel 9a will be the smallest of all at 6,03 inches.
Google Pixel 9 price and release date
Prices are not defined to the public currently, but taking into account Google's history, this can range from 800 euros to 1200 euros. Especially if we start from the Google Pixel 8 prices which came out with a base price of 799 euros and the Pixel 8 Pro with a base price of 1.099 euros.
Regarding the release date, and following Google traditions, we would be having the Pixel 9 between the months of September and October of this year.
