Google has been redesigning the icons for its Android operating system. This is a style calledMoonshine” and here we tell you how to download and install them on our Android device.
The well-known search engine aims to offer a new plus in terms of platform customization, which is why it has developed and carried out this new project. We and all of us who are fans of the Android system want to have the latest on this platform, as is normal. Next, the procedure to install Moonshine on our tablet or mobile Android.
Procedures to install Moonshine icons
As a first step to use these icons, you need to download and install two applications that you will find a link to at the end of this article.
To start the process you need to download Moonshine from the Play Store de Google. Later we must download a launcher that works with these icons. What launcher works with Moonshine? Depending on the developer, ADW, Nova, APEX, Unicon, Smart or Action Launcher should be adapted.
We can select any launcher that we like, but we cannot guarantee that it will work in its entirety, since we have only tested with Nova Launcher. Once the launcher is selected and downloaded, press Home. Then we will see a screen where we must select the start. We choose the installed launcher and then click the option Forever, so that we constantly have the same start.
After selecting the launcher that we are going to use, we keep the screen of Home and then select the tool icon at the top right. When we have entered settings, we access Appearance, then click on Themes for icons.
We select Moonshine and we will have the new Google icons installed on our Android device and we can confirm it when we return to the application dock, where we will see the unpublished icons that replaced the previous ones.
Moonshine contains 60 icons with a colorful and flat design, which ensures an attractive design. These icons are in high resolution, so they can be adapted to any screen, especially on high-end tablets and smartphones, it also includes 6 wallpapers. Remember that they are only compatible with the launchers mentioned above.
