Minecraft Earth Android is still far from being a complete version. The game has an ongoing beta program, which is available to only a few users.

The United States is the XNUMXth country to join the testing phase of the game after the United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea, the Philippines, Sweden, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and Iceland.

Minecraft Earth Android will be similar to Pokémon Go in many ways. The game will allow players to go out into the real world to find "taps" (the equivalent of poke stops, essentially) and collect the resources needed to build things.
The game gives you the opportunity to create and build on any flat surface in tabletop mode with 3D holograms. You can then place your builds at life size with augmented reality and experience what it's like to walk through them.
It also features many of the standard Minecraft mobs along with a bunch of new ones. The game even allows you to team up with other crafters and create masterpieces together.
AR games based on real-world locations follow the proven formula established by Ingress/Pokemon Go. It will be interesting to see how Minecraft Earth stands out from other games. The Minecraft name will undoubtedly attract many hardcore fans of the franchise to the game.
But as we have seen with titles like Mario Kart Tour, keep the audience that attracted, is something difficult to achieve.
