Xiaomi Redmi 8A PRO, the new Xiaomi mobile? It should come as no surprise that Xiaomi is working on a new affordable smartphone from the Redmi brand. It seems that it will be released in the near future, but its name could intrigue more than one.
This is the Redmi 8A Pro, as revealed by the details of the RF certification published on the official Xiaomi website.
The Redmi 8A was presented recently and we did not expect it to have a PRO brother. This is because we've never seen it before, for the insultingly cheap Redmi A-series. But apparently even that can't escape the big craze of being Pro in 2019.
Redmi 8A PRO, Xiaomi's new phone?
It is not clear what specifications the Redmi 8A Pro will have to differentiate itself from the tender 8A, which has a 6,22″ HD+ LCD screen with a notch in the shape of a drop of water.
The Snapdragon 439 chipset, accompanied by 2/3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 12 MP primary camera and f/1,8 aperture. Also an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5.000 mAh battery.
The Redmi 8A comes with Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 out of the box. But since MIUI 11 is about to be released, perhaps the Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro can bring it factory installed from day one.
I would give it a PRO point, in addition to other better features than its little brother the 8A.
A PRO in the Redmi A family
The Redmi 7A did not have a Pro version, and Xiaomi has no history of releasing a Pro version of its A series. Xiaomi usually offers better chipsets in non-'A' series Redmi phones. The tests of the Redmi 8A PRO, in a tweet from the one who usually leaks news about mobile telephony in India.

For example, the Redmi 7 has a better, bigger screen and better chipset than the 7A. Obviously, the phone with higher specifications points to a higher price range, of course.
However, Xiaomi has been known to surprise and release new products from time to time. So we will have to wait and see what the Redmi 8A Pro has to offer and above all what price it will have as a PRO of the 8 series.
