Realme C3 launched with MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, dual cameras and 5,000mAh battery

Realme is moving forward with its competitive mobile phone release cycle. After the launch of Realme 5s in early January, the Chinese giant is back with another android mobile phone. Realme has today launched the entry-level Realme C3 in India.

It is the successor to last year's Realme C2 and brings Mediatek's latest gaming-focused chipset, dual cameras, a super powerful battery and more features and technical specifications.

Realme C3: specifications and features

Realme C3 is a basic mobile phone, so it includes a polycarbonate back panel, featuring the sunrise design that the company has popularized over the past year.

The ridged back panel provides a great and comfortable feel in the hand, but the lack of a fingerprint sensor is disappointing.

You get Face Unlock anyway, so that's fine. There are also a number of advantages and tricks to use on a Realme mobile.

6.5-inch HD + display

Turning our attention to what matters, Realme C3 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a mini notch (that's what Realme likes to call a water drop notch) at the top.

You'll get an 89.8% screen-to-body ratio, 720 x 1600 pixel resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front.

Microprocessor and operating system

The highlight of the Realme C3 is that it is the world's first smartphone powered by MediaTek Helio G70 chipset. It's paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via the built-in dedicated microSD card slot.

Realme C3 is the company's first Android phone to come with Realme UI, based on Android 10, out of the box. This means you'll have access to a host of new features, such as dark mode, dual mode music sharing, focus mode, screen recording, and more.

Rear and selfie cameras

In the cameras section, Realme C3 presents a double rear camera setup with a 12MP (f/1.8) primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. You get almost all the Realme camera features in this mobile phone including Chroma Boost, 1080p video recording, 120fps slow motion video, portrait mode and more.

There is also a 5MP selfie camera on board, which sounds good at this price.

Another highlight of the Realme C3 is that it comes equipped with a Battery 5,000 mAh, but it's sad to see a microUSB port, for charging in 2020. You'll get just a 10W adapter (5V / 2A) in the box. The company has also added the reverse charge function to this device so you can charge other devices.

Realme C3 price and availability

Realme C3 has a price of 89 euros to change for the base variant of 3GB + 32GB. 102 euros to change, for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It will be available in 2 attractive colors namely Frozen Blue and Blazing Red.

The device will go on sale from February 14, in the Realme online store. It will also be available on stores like Gearbest, Aliexpress, etc in the coming weeks.
