PUBG PC 6.3 brings new weapons, balance changes, quality of life improvements and more

The 6.3 update introduces the Panzerfaust on the Karakin map. The weapon fires a missile that travels fast, but can be dodged by faster players.

• The Panzerfaust warhead explodes on impact, but can also explode in mid-air
  • Damage radius is 6m from the point of impact.

  • The warhead will explode in midair, before impact if damaged by explosions or shot by a bullet.

  • Once the warhead is fired, the Panzerfaust tube will be jettisoned and cannot be raised again
• Firing the warhead produces an explosion, so be careful!
  • The blast damages those within a 3m zone behind the weapon.
    Be careful not to have teammates or a wall too close behind you. you have been warned

• Zeroing options at 60, 100 (default), and 150 meters

PUBG 6.3 update also brings weapon balance changes. Some of the changes are somewhat unexpected, like the changes to the M249.

Tommy gun
Stronger and more versatile. Now you can also attach Red Dots and Holos to your Tommy.

• Added top rail for attaching red dot and holo sights
• Increased rate of fire from 700 to 750.
• Increased shooting accuracy
  • We have reduced the bullet deflection penalty when firing for an extended period
• Greater precision of movement
• Decreased recoil when firing for a long period
  • This is due to the higher rate of fire.

M249
Removed from care packages and added to normal loot on Miramar and Erangel. Can now carry more attachments, but is harder to control and does less damage.

  • A tactical stock can be equipped to improve weapon stability
• Added magazine attachment slot
  • Standard ammo capacity reduced to 75
  • He now has 150 with an extended mag
• Base bullet damage reduced from 45 to 40

UMP-45
An increase in power across the board, making the UMP a more viable option for your arsenal.

• Base bullet damage increased from 39 to 41
• Fire rate increased from 650 to 670.
• Muzzle velocity increased from 300 to 360

• This means an increase in the speed at which bullets exit the barrel, which makes it a bit easier to track moving targets.

Along with these changes, the M249 and Tommy Gun models and firing sounds were updated. The new PUBG update also brings quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

Quality of life improvements

• Improved visibility of nearby items on the ground by improving the glowing effect and adding a new pulse effect
  • The new pulse effect can be disabled and appears as “Item Blink Effect” in the game settings
• Added an electrical static sound to the Blue Zone wall that provides players with an audible queue when the Blue Zone is close
• [Team Deathmatch] Added Rich Presence so your Discord and Steam friends know when you're fragging in TDM
• [Team Deathmatch] Invincibility will now be instantly removed when engaged in combat (firing a weapon, throwing grenades, etc.)
• [Team Deathmatch] Hotkey for player reports is disabled for 1 second after death to prevent accidental activation

Error correction

Fixed the following issues:

• Teammate character location out of sync with observer screen in certain situations
• Map texture is displayed in poor quality
• The message "Round 3" is constantly displayed and the round does not start in Team Deathmatch
• Victoria 12's dance name is not displayed correctly.
• Visual misalignment in the Blue Zone UI
• Visual issue with vehicle durability UI background
• PLAYERUNKNOWN's trench cut out character
• All goggle and mask items are not displayed when equipping the traditional Golden Dragon cap
• Titles for all keys are not displaying correctly in the store and inventory
• Unable to accomplish "Reach top 10 after getting a kill with QBZ/AKM" mission in certain situations

General changes

• Sticky bombs can now be found in training mode

• Added additional ringtone for Sticky Bomb

PUBG is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. The game is also available on iOS and Android as PUBG Mobile.
