Filtration of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, reveal a lot of information

The presentation of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro is imminent and, despite the COVID-19 pandemic that stops the world, the only thing we are sure of is that there is always a chance of an online presentation. We have seen so many companies do that and it has also proven to be successful. However, we are not here to talk about when the device will be released.

The new Oneplus 8 and Oneplus 8 PRO are filtered

We've just gotten some new information on the specs of both devices and it looks like OnePlus is finally jumping on the bandwagon and introducing a higher refresh rate screen, along with a few other improvements that have become the norm with mobile phones.

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will have higher refresh rate screens, Snapdragon 865 and IP68 rating for OnePlus 8 Pro

Now the leak is quite convincing and reveals some key information. Before I start commenting on it, the devices are very similar to the OnePlus 7T, but there are some changes.

For starters, you get the Snapdragon 865 on both devices, but the OnePlus 8 Pro is the device that is getting the key updates in almost every department. Furthermore, the 8 Pro is also IP68 rated, while the leak suggests that the OnePlus 8 will not have any IP rating at all.

You can check out the leaked Oneplus 8 PRO tech sheet below.

You're definitely getting the 120Hz display on the OnePlus 8 Pro and you're also getting 8 and 12GB of RAM, the device packs ample storage too.

OnePlus 8 Pro will also include fast wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging and, obviously, Warp charging is there. Although the panel is 120Hz, we're not sure if it will be QHD+ or limited to FHD+. Whatever the case, we'll hear the official word very soon.

Below you can see the specifications of the OnePlus 8.

Compared to the OnePlus 8 Pro, the little brother almost looks like a device most people will skip over. You're not getting most of the features, like wireless charging. You're also getting a smaller camera setup, the storage option remains the same, but you're giving away the 120Hz screen and getting a 90Hz FHD+ panel, which isn't too bad.

The OnePlus 8 looks a lot like a OnePlus 7T with a few changes here and there, but the overall spec sheet is very similar.

Additionally, we also have press renders for both devices that you can check out below.

Needless to say, at this point, the devices are more or less official. All we have to wait for is the official announcement.
