Why download your photos
It has happened to all of us at some point that we had a hard drive or a computer with a large amount of photos and it has spoiled us. We probably think we've lost them all.
But, in case some of those photos were uploaded to Facebook, we can easily solve this problem.
Downloading a single photo is very simple. We will only have to click on it and select the Download option.
But if there are many photos that we want to download, the process can end up being extremely tedious. Luckily, there is a way to download a file with all your photographs.
It is a little known but very simple process, with which you can have all your photos in a matter of minutes.
Steps to download your Facebook photos
- Open the Facebook app on Android.
- Click on the three horizontal stripes that appear at the top.
- Go into settings and privacy.
- Click on settings.
- Go to the Your Information section of Facebook.
- Click on Download your information.
- Select only the photos and videos.
- Choose the quality, format and interval of the images you want to download.
- Click on the blue button to create file.
With this process, what we do is a request to Facebook to download the photos. Now we will have to wait for the social network to notify us when the file is ready. This may take a few minutes. But in a short time we will have a notification advising that we can now download our images.
Once we receive the notification, we will only have to click on it. Next, it will ask us to enter our social network password.
When we do, the download will start and in a few minutes we will have all our photos saved on our Android device so that we can share them with another app, upload them to the cloud or whatever we want.
