Google has announced a new short-form vertical video app called Tangi for creative videos. The application comes from the experimental laboratory of Google Area 120. But it is strange that the app is for iOS and there is still no news of Tangi Android.
With Tangi, Google aims to provide a one-stop destination for quick DIY videos, tutorials, and art. The app looks like a hybrid of Pinterest and TikTok. Unlike TikTok, users can create vertical videos of up to 60 seconds with Tangi.
The name of the app is inspired by the words "TeAch and GIve" and "tangible". Google encourages creators to upload creative videos in the craft, cooking, cosmetics, fashion, and beauty categories.

There is a "Try It Out" feature in the app that allows viewers to recreate the video and post their submissions. Creators can watch the video to provide suggestions in the comments. In this way, the application tries to create a community, with the aim of generating a healthy interaction between creators and viewers.
Tangi and its sections
You can see them short videos that you have liked whenever you want from the “Like” section in your profile. The profile also shows you the total number of views and likes of all your videos along with the number of followers. It should be noted that your favorite videos are private and it will not be visible to others when they visit your profile.
All that said, you'll have to wait a bit longer to start creating videos in Tangi. You can join the waiting list to get early access to create videos. However, you can watch the videos that are already present on the platform through the iOS app and on the web.
For when Tangi Android?
Surprisingly, Google still has no word on the availability of an Android app.
There is also no news that Google is developing Tangi Android, but we will see it shortly, since it is its mobile platform and it would be strange if it did not reach Google Play.
