A Geekbench listing has been spotted for what is supposed to be the Galaxy S11, and it gives away some hardware specs for the South Korean giant's next flagship mobile phone.
12 GB of RAM and Exynos 9830 in the Samsung Galaxy S11
According to the listing, the Galaxy S11+ will use Samsung's in-house Exynos 9830 SoC (an upgrade from the Exynos 9820 seen in the Galaxy S10).
The listing also suggests that the phone will have at least one variant with 12GB of RAM and come with Android 10 out of the box, but that was expected either way.
The scores on the list are relatively low, compared to Geekbench scores of 5 for flagships running the Snapdragon 855.
However, that could be because the Galaxy S11 is still a work in progress, and we expect it to perform much better once Samsung is done with software optimizations and everything else on the phone. Let's be optimistic...
In addition to that, other information about the Galaxy S11 series has been leaked in other reports and leaks. There's talk of a laser autofocus system this time around, along with a 120Hz display (or at least a 90Hz panel), a 108MP main camera on the back, and 5G support across the lineup.
120 Hz screen on the Samsung S11
Most of next year's top flagships will apparently ditch standard 60Hz screens in favor of 120Hz panels.
After recent reports suggested that the Redmi K30, OnePlus 8 Pro, and iPhone 12 will launch with high-refresh screens. A new tweet from a well-known leaker now seemingly reaffirms earlier rumors that Samsung could also follow suit and include a 120Hz display with its Galaxy S11.
According to a tweet from @UniverseIce last Wednesday, Samsung's next flagship will offer users the option to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on their needs.
As you can see below, a subsequent tweet further claimed that the device will also be able to automatically switch between the two modes. While they didn't say it in so many words, auto-shift mode will probably be the default setting out of the box.
It offers three options:
1. Turn off high refresh rate mode and keep 60Hz
2. Activate high refresh rate mode and keep 120Hz
3. Turn on high refresh rate mode and automatically switch between 60Hz and 120Hz.
While Razer was the first OEM to offer what was at the time a revolutionary new feature for its first-gen gaming phone last year, Asus has included it in its ROG Phone 2, bringing it to a wider audience.
In addition to Razer and Asus, other Android vendors have also started shipping their phones with high refresh rate screens in recent years, with the Google Pixel 4 lineup and OnePlus 7 Pro among some of the devices to ship with 90Hz screens. .
Now, if the latest leaks are anything to go by, high-refresh displays are coming soon to Samsung's flagship phones.
What is expected of the Samsung S11 and its Plus variant looks good. We will see if these data are confirmed in the near future.

In case the rumors are true, I want to buy that device. It will be better than the iPhone.
