Do you know what ColorOS 7 is? Oppo is on a roll lately. The Chinese giant has launched some very interesting new Android phones in 2019. Including the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and the recently launched Oppo Reno Ace. After ColorOS 6, it seems that something new is coming.
However, the only hesitation that many users have when buying these devices is the ColorOS 6 software experience, that is, its user layer.
Oppo is looking to shake things up and has confirmed that ColorOS 7 will be unveiled later this month.
ColorOS 7 Oppo's user layer evolves
The official ColorOS Weibo account has posted a video (you'll find it below), which reveals that Oppo will introduce a new experience of its software.
It is generating expectation and its official presentation is expected for November 20 in China.
The subtitle at the end of the video says, ColorOS 7 "It is deciphered on November 20" which is probably the date of presentation.
The Weibo post goes on to explain that a important announcement will come tomorrow and we assume Oppo will start posting hints and rumors of the new software experience on social media. We should also know the implementation schedule on November 20.
Not much is known about what ColorOS 7 will look and feel like, but we expect it to receive a massive overhaul. We'd love it to be less bulky and more minimalist based on ColorOS 6 feedback. Most likely based on Android 10, which is great.
While ColorOS 7 is sure to come to Oppo phones, especially the new Oppo Reno series, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth recently confirmed the development of an Android experience free of junk software, almost pure Android for Realme phones.
It will be based on the ColorOS 7 software experience, but we expect it to be closer to OxygenOS or ZenUI 6. It means users will get a clean and minimal experience, but with additional features, which is a win-win situation for the user.
Oppo unveils its custom ColorOS 7 software in China on the same day as the Realme X2 Pro launch in India.
So, could we expect the company to talk about the new ColorOS 7 and what's new? Could Realme X2 Pro, its first flagship, have a new software experience too?
We hope so. Tell us your opinion in the comments section.
