Today, UMIDIGI launched the UMIDIGI Power 3 globally, following the well-known UMIDIGI F2. The phone comes as a successor to the UMIDIGI Power. With the Power 3, UMIDIGI offers a 6.150 mAh battery, which is the largest ever for a smartphone.
In addition to this, the Power 3 also offers a 48MP quad camera setup, a punch-hole display, and a Mediatek Helio P60 chipset. The phone will go on global sale on November 11 on AliExpress.
The UMIDIGI Power series aims to offer the longest battery life for a phone in the sub-$200 segment. The Power 3 comes with an updated design and hardware, compared to the previous Power.
Here's a quick look at the comparison.
UMIDIGI Power 3, the biggest battery ever
The UMIDIGI Power 3 houses a powerful 6.150mAh battery with an 18W Type-C fast charger, aiming to offer an extraordinary lifespan.
What's more, it features 10W OTG reverse charging, which can charge your other devices quickly, while other phones only support about 2,5W OTG reverse charging.
And to use reverse charging, you don't have to buy extra OTG cable because it is shipped with the Power 3 as a gift.
Multi-function quad camera
Another big difference between the UMIDIGI Power 3 and the previous Power is the rear camera. The Power 3 comes with a quad rear camera setup, made up of a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing camera.
In addition to the common camera features, it offers a new Night Mode to capture better images in low light conditions, an Ultra Wide Mode to capture more in a single shot, and a Macro Mode to capture beauty up close.
Larger screen without notch
The UMIDIGI Power 3 is one of your best options, if you are a fan of the notch-less and bezel-less design. The Power 3 comes with a 6,53-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) punch-hole display. The hole that houses the 16MP selfie camera is only 4.5mm, small and not distracting at all. The 6,53-inch large screen, coupled with the small bezel, gives you a broader viewing experience.
More powerful performance
The Power 3 houses the high-performance MediaTek Helio P60 processor, with 4GB LPDDR4X of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Dual channel LPDDR4X memory has 50% higher efficiency and 100% higher peak performance compared to older LPDDR3 RAM.
Thanks to the triple card slot design, the phone has a dedicated Micro-SD card slot for storing up to an additional 256GB. These setups are definitely game changers in the entry level segment.
The latest in Android 10 and other features
The UMIDIGI Power 3 is one of the first smartphones to feature stock Android 10. And the phone comes in three trendy colors for us to choose from: Space Gray, Midnight Green, and Red.
In addition, the Power 3 can support 'OK Google' on lock screen, and we can activate your Google assistant more conveniently. It also supports multi-function NFC and global bands, as well as dual 4G LTE.
