It seems that a video on YouTube revealed the design of the Asus ROG Phone 3 days after most of its key specifications were leaked. The video, which was uploaded to the Chinese social networking site Weibo by feiwei, has since been removed.
However, the post apparently confirmed all the specs that were revealed earlier this week. Alongside the video, there's also a leaked promotional image (see above) that appears to show off the upcoming device in all its glory.
Asus ROG Phone 3, design revealed in video, before launch
The original video of the Asus ROG Phone 3 apparently only lasted a few seconds. And although it has now been removed, various bloggers and YouTubers have preserved it for posterity. As you can see, it looks a lot like its predecessors, with an aggressive look.
Personally, I have always loved this design, but I admit that it is not to everyone's taste. You can watch the video below and let us know what you think about it.
Meanwhile, various leaks in recent days have revealed a lot about the ROG Phone 3. It was recently certified by China's electronics certification agency TENAA, revealing most of its key hardware specifications. According to the listing, Asus' ROG Phone 3 will have a 2340-inch FHD+ (1080×6.59) AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The ROG Phone 3 will be powered by a Qualcomm processor clocked at 3.091 GHz, most likely the upcoming Snapdragon 865+. It will be offered in 8GB, 12GB and 16GB options, along with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage.
The phone will run Android 10 factory and will have a 5,800 mAh battery. It will sport a horizontal camera setup on the back, and it won't have a notch or punch hole up front.
