Huawei's next flagship: the series Huawei P40 it's launching at an event next month in Paris, and now a new leak has surfaced, revealing the phone's front design.
The image was shared on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. From the image, we see a Pill-shaped camera cutout on the top left corner of the phone, to accommodate dual selfie cameras.

The top and bottom bezels are barely visible on the device while the edges feature the waterfall screen design. Take a look at the image below.
Previous reports suggest the Huawei P40 Pro is likely to have a 2-inch 6.57K curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Kirin 990 SoC with an integrated Balong 5000 5G modem.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the phone is rumored to pack a rectangular penta-camera setup on the rear consisting of a 52MP Sony Quad Quad Bayer sensor, a 20MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera (Periscope) with 10x optical zoom, a macro camera, and a 3D ToF sensor.
Battery
The phone is made to equip a prodigious 5.500 mAh battery. Notably, the battery will take up only 70 percent of a similar capacity Li-on battery. The phone could support 50W fast charging which will fill the battery in just 45 minutes.
HarmonyOS operating system
With all that said, it's worth mentioning that Richard Yu, the head of Huawei's consumer business, recently said that the P40-series mobile phones could even run on the company's own HarmonyOS instead of Android.
This is if the company is not allowed to use Google services. HarmonyOS will come with Huawei MediaServices (HMS).
